Aizen è riuscito ad usare Kyouka Suigetsu, ponendo tutti gli avversari sotto l'effetto di Kanzen Saimin (la sua illusione perfetta). Ichigo urla verso i propri compagni, tentando di fermarli, essendo l'unico a vedere come stanno veramente le cose. Ma, e questo sembra essere un altro effetto di Kyouka Suigetsu, loro non possono sentirlo.
A ricevere il colpo tremendo di Hitsugaya non è quindi Aizen, bensì (sorpresa sorpresa) Hinamori. Ferita, cade al suolo dicendo "shiro...-chan...".
